Over the past few seasons, the strings section has been imperative to the soundscapes of Coke Studio. Led by Javed Iqbal, lovingly called Uncle J, the ensemble is a group of seasoned musicians including Ghulam Abbas, Ghulam Muhammad Muhammad Ilyas, Babar Ali and Khawar Hussain. Two cello players and 4 violinist, light up the musical landscape of Coke Studio with their ability to execute complex ditties with ease.
